How To Optimize Your Medspa Instagram Ads In Three Ways

In the twelve years I’ve worked with medspas, weight loss clinics and other wellness practices, their social media has either been an asset in crushing their monthly bookings or a huge hindrance – especially Instagram.

Not sure what to even look for here or where to start in correctly setting up your medspa Instagram? Here are three ways that you can adjust, optimize and prime, your Instagram for successful Meta ads.

The first way? Post engaging video content that features you! If your medspa is posting mainly Canva templates, or text-heavy product image carousels, you are not going to get the traction with ads that you would if you were consistently sharing engaging video content. 

What does that kind of video content look like? You (or the other practitioners at your medspa) talking to potential clients, into the camera, about who you are, what your practice does, your client wins and whatever else you want to feature. This is how your followers get to know you, and your business, and eventually trust you.

Think of it this way: you’re asking someone who doesn’t know you to trust you with some of their most valuable assets – like their face or skin – in a high-ticket service, like tox, fillers and chemical peels.

You need to build that trust on a personal level before they will trust you to perform one of these premium treatments. 

The second way? Share compelling before-and-afters videos. While relying on before and after photos is effective, video is a far more compelling way to showcase the results you’ve gotten for your clients. 

How can you incorporate video content into a testimonial post? Interview a client about their life-changing transformation. Talk your followers through a case study and the incredible results your clients have seen through your services and proven process. This will also help further establish your expertise. 

The third way? Simplify your booking process at the link in your bio. It should be crystal clear for people to find how to book with you at your bio link. Whether it’s through your Instagram profile or your website, potential clients should be able to seamlessly go from potential clients to return customers.

What can you do? If it’s filling out a form, calling your office, or sending you an Instagram Direct Message, make sure you’ve made it as easy as possible for your followers to book services with you. 

This organic booking process needs to be absolutely solid because ads only amplify what you’re doing. If you’re crushing it organically, your ads are going to showcase that all across Facebook and Instagram.
