It’s important to approach your medspa marketing, and selling high-ticket, luxury services in general, with the right mindset.
You have to get inside your ideal client’s mind to effectively speak to what they need to hear to buy. And your prospective patients need one thing most to buy your high-ticket service. It’s the same thing your medspa marketing needs too. And that thing is time.
I talked about this on Instagram, but one of the clients I’m getting some of my BEST results for right now took me two years to land. Two entire years!
If I decided she was a lost cause the first time she told me she wasn’t ready, things would be so different. I wouldn’t be helping her hit consistent $30K, $40K and $50K months now through our ads and medspa marketing strategy.
Things would’ve been totally different if I hadn’t stayed visible to her. If I hadn’t stayed consistent with my own content and ads, which kept showing up on her feed, or had stopped following up, I never would’ve gotten the opportunity to work with her.
She never would’ve gotten the results we’re getting her now if I had just given up.
Powerful Medspa Marketing Takes More Than A Few Weeks…
Your ideal clients and prospective patients aren’t that different. And here’s what I don’t understand – why are you expecting your prospective patients to make more expensive, higher ticket decisions any faster than you would?
You’re asking someone who has never met you before to trust you with their face, body, hormones, weight, health, and sometimes thousands of dollars! This is not a casual Tuesday afternoon decision (unless you’re an impulse buyer, like me).
Your prospective patients need time to understand what you do. They need to understand why it’s worth the investment.
Your ideal clients need time to see you and time to understand what makes your medspa different. They need time to see you talking about your practice and services.
Your future buyers need time to see your results and time to decide if they trust you enough to spend hundreds, or thousands, of dollars with you.
And most importantly, your ideal future patients need to trust you. And that takes time.
Some people will see your ad and call your medspa that day. Others will stalk you for six months first, then finally hit the ‘Book’ button. And both are completely normal!
It’s important to remember aren’t a magic, “Turn them on and strangers immediately hand you money!” button.
I’ve seen medspa owners, and business owners, launch ads and run them for a couple weeks, only to throw up their hands and say, “Well, ads didn’t work for me, I guess. I’m just gonna move on.”
When you sell a luxury high-ticket service, part of impactful medspa marketing is giving people enough time, and enough touchpoints to go from, “Who is this person?” to “I keep seeing her everywhere…” to “This is my sign. I’m booking her!”
This actually happens for one of my clients! She said multiple people say saw her ads over the course of a few months before finally booking.
You’ve got to give people a chance to know you. You have to give them a chance to trust you.
And most importantly, you’ve got to give your medspa marketing enough time to actually do its job.
