It’s a tale as old as time and I see it far too often – aesthetics owners burned by medspa ad agencies that promised the world and delivered nothing. Nothing except low-quality leads, constant discounts and zero long-term growth.

I’ve talked about this in a previous blog post, but if you’re thinking about hiring a medspa ad agency, first watch this video to recognize common red flags that could cost you thousands of dollars!

These are the types of big agencies that push volume over quality and celebrate all the leads they get you instead of booked, paying patients. But at the same time, they can’t even clearly explain where the leads are coming from or why the ads aren’t as effective as they promised.

In this video, I break down some of these concerning patterns to look out for, like medspa agencies that rely on AI women, or stock models, instead of your real team, real patients, and real results, to build authenticity and trust.

These are the medspa agencies that build an entire strategy based on flash sales, giveaways or “$99 offers” that attract price shoppers – not loyal, high quality patients.

Or the medspa agencies that completely misunderstand patient psychology or how medspa buyers actually make decisions.

I’m here to tell you the truth – most  of these big “medspa ad agencies” are run by bro marketers who don’t understand your business, your margins or your brand.

Women sell in this niche, but ‘bait and switch’ marketing destroys trust and cheapens your practice. Real growth doesn’t come from constant discounts. That’s only going to cost you in the long run.

If you want to scale your medspa, you’re going to need to focus on building authority, positioning, education and systems that attract the right patients consistently.

If you’re spending money on ads, you deserve more than “just try this flash sale. It works for all of our other clients!” You deserve a strategy that builds demand and most importantly, trust. If this hit a nerve, it’s probably for a reason.

Watch this video before carefully vetting any medspa ad agencies you may want to work with!
